Groomer



Groomer:  Grooming positions are W-2 commission-based employees who have the ability to work within regular business hours.  We are currently hiring for our groomer position, and interested applicants should fill out application.  Will consider full time, part time, temporary, or groom manager position (minimum  2 years professional grooming experience preferred). Selected applicants will be interviewed and need to be available to demonstrate grooming skills.​

  • 2+  years experience.  More years experience preferred, but will consider the right person.

  • Ability to groom all /majority breeds of dogs, all sizes, and appropriately handle all temperaments.

  • You will be expected to perform an on-site grooming test.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Excellent customer service skills, as well as ability to manage phone calls and maintain computer records.

  • Dependable with positive attitude and excellent work ethic.

  • Ability to work with other groomers effectively.

  • Grooming positions will begin upon satisfactory completion of interview & on site groom skills test.

​​​​Guest Services & Kennel Assistant Positions:

(Full Time, Part Time, Weekend & Seasonal Positions Available at This Time)


Receptionist/Kennel Assistant candidates must be available weekends, holidays, and during Rutherford County School breaks.   These are our busiest times of the year, so availability during these times is imperative.  Availability 2-4 days during the week is a plus for part time candidates.  Full time candidates should be available 4 1/2 - 5 days a week.  Working hours typically fall between 7:30 am-5:30 pm.  Half day shifts available for part-time staff if needed.

  • Playing with and interacting with pets of all sizes and breeds both indoors and outdoors.
  • Being attentive to the individual needs of the pets in our care.
  • Feeding and medicating pets. 
  • Keeping the pets and facility clean.
  • Greeting customers and managing phone calls.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Logging all appropriate information in individual charts and computerized record keeping and data entry.
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals using appropriate procedures.
  • Ability to walk animals.
  • Physical activities that require bending, lifting, standing, stooping, and working in all weather conditions.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness are essential. 
  • Must have reliable transportation.   
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.  Tact and diplomacy is required.
  • Ability to work with customers and pets in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
  • Teamwork:  Work and communicate well with all team members, as we all work to share the common goal of customer service and pet care excellence.
  • Must have a cheerful and positive attitude, professional appearance, high standards of honesty and integrity, and be self-motivated.​​​
